Elías Todorovich received a computer engineering degree from the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNCPBA), Argentina, in 1997, and a Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain, in 2006. From 2003 to 2009 he was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, UAM and is currently a professor at the University FASTA of Mar del Plata, Argentina and at the UNCPBA. His research interests include programmable logic, digital image processing, and functional verification and AI.
Vice Dean of the Exact Sciences Faculty - UNCPBA
Dr. Aciti graduated in Systems Engineering from the Faculty of Exact Sciences at UNCPBA (Tandil) and obtained Master's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Engineering at UNLaM (La Matanza). He obtained a PhD in Computational and Industrial Mathematics. Researcher/Professor at UNCPBA and UNTREF. His areas of interest are in Real-Time Systems and Cyber-Physical Systems.
Systems Engineer, University Professor, primarily focused on developing high-quality human resources in the field of systems, both technically and humanly. His experience includes teaching courses, participating in research and development projects, leading development projects, and building work teams.
Eng. Sarramone received a bachelor’s degree in systems Engineering from the National University of Central Buenos Aires (UNCPBA), Argentina, in 2022. He is working on his PhD in Computer Sciences at UNCPBA, with a fellowship from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) from 2022 to 2027. His research interests are related to using AI techniques and bio-inspired systems to understand brain functions. His investigation focuses on the grid- and place-cells dynamical relationship, their impact on the navigation systems of animals, and their application to robotics.
Eng. Presso is an auxiliary staff member from the Scientific Research Commission of Buenos Aires County (CICPBA). His current activities refer to brain signal processing of EEG recordings about behavior that is performed or imagined behavior. His research interests also involve AI techniques and bio-engineered systems to understand brain functions and their implementation on brain-machine interfaces.
Eng. Rodríguez graduated in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI), Cuba, in 2023. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at UNCPBA, supported by a CONICET scholarship (2025–2030). His research focuses on the development of neural control models based on high-cognitive processes, applied to mobile robotic control for spatial navigation. He explores the interaction between grid cells and place cells, as well as the design of language models in artificial intelligence to establish such communication and apply them to robotic control.
